M, T, Th, F> 7:50 AM – 3:20 PM W> 7:50 AM-1:55 PM Homework Habitat: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday> 3:20-4:30 Students can get their homework done with help from certificated teachers on duty. Library Collection: The Terman library collection opened in September 2001 with 1800 books to support the 6th grade curriculum. Additional titles have been added to support the 7th & 8th grade curriculums. There are now over 15,000 books and the collection continues to grow! Other print sources include subscriptions to 19 magazines, The Mercury News and The Palo Alto Weekly. The library also has full Internet access and access. |

Library Program The library program emphasizes information literacy skills and literacy skills. All 6th grade students receive an comprehensive three-part orientation in September. Throughout the school year teachers schedule their classes to use the library to do research, check-out books and complete classroom assignments that require library and information resources. Information literacy skill instruction is integrated with classroom assignments and taught collaboratively by the Teacher Librarian and classroom teachers. |
